The ugly law violation from the puncher Shawn West has left serious injury to the Boston Salmon boxer.
At the LFA 84 event in early July, former UFC Boston boxer Salmon debuted in the tournament in the confrontation with puncher Shawn West. Despite the “winning” debut, but certainly this is not the end that Salmon desired.
After a hit on the start of the second half, Boston Salmon took a right hook from the opponent and collapsed to the floor. However, when his knee and hand were still not on the ground, Shawn West rushed to launch a thrusting pillow into his left eye. Breaking the rules has caused serious injury to Boston Salmon.
Despite winning, but Salmon has broken eye sockets and cheekbones. Currently, the boxer born in 1990 is in the process of recovery, however, surely his eyesight will be significantly affected by the situation of breaking this law.
In addition, Salmon’s manager, SuckerPunch Entertainment executive Brian Butler also asked the South Dakota State Sports Commission to consider disciplinary action with Shawn West to avoid such uncontrolled actions.
On the side of Shawn West, this boxer also sent an apology to his colleague and is responsible for everything he has done in the last match.
Starting the MMA career in 2013, Boston Salmon has so far gone through 10 professional matches with a record of 7 wins – 3 losses. In particular, his most notable achievement was playing at UFC after qualifying for the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2017.
However, with 2 consecutive losses of TKO in UFC, Salmon switched to play in the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). But, certainly, American boxers absolutely do not want to have a “victory” on the bad tournament launch like this.
